It's Bird, It's a Plane, It's a New NYC Superhero Tour!

A new bus tour takes superhero lovers to the New York City landmarks where the action took place in favorite movies and television shows.

If your kid is a superhero lover—and who isn’t?—we’ve got the perfect outing for you: The Super Tour.

The Super Tour, which launched in July, offers a 3.5-hour guided bus tour of more than 40 New York sites where superheroes appeared in films and television shows.

The tour, run by On Location Tours, is led by local actors who fill visitors in on the superheroes’ lifestyles and stories. Tours are held every Saturday and Sunday at 12pm and leave from Midtown Comics at 200 West 40th St.

The superhero landmarks participants will see in the tour’s action-packed itinerary include:

  • The building used as The Daily Planet in Superman: The Movie

  • The place where the Battle of New York—featuring Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and the Incredible Hulk—took place in The Avengers

  • The New York Stock Exchange, where Batman battled it out with Bane in The Dark Knight Rises

  • The police department building where Jim Gordon works on Gotham

  • Hogarth’s office, featured in Netflix’s Jessica Jones and Iron Fist

  • The New York Public Library, where Uncle Ben gave his famous catchphrase to Peter Parker in Spider-Man

  • The Statue of Liberty and Staten Island Ferry—or at least glimpses of them—as seen in X-Men, Superman II, and the new Spider-Man: Homecoming

Tickets for The Super Tour cost $49 and must be purchased in advance online at onlocationtours.com or by calling 212-913-9780.
