In honor of Star Wars Day on May 4, Discovery Times Square is hosting a special celebration with their Star Wars and the Power of Costume: The Exhibition display.

From 6-8pm, Discovery Times Square will receive a special visit from Stormtroopers of the 501st Legion with photo opportunities to pose with the defenders of the Galactic Empire. Adults who attend will also have the opportunity to dress up in Star Wars outfits and can enter the Cosplay Costume Contest for a chance to win a merchandise prize pack from the gift shop.

Though Star Wars Day is on May 4, Discovery Times Square will also he hosting themed activities on May 7 and 8 from 12-3pm. Visitors can make Chewbacca bookmarks and Yoda figures made of clay. There will also be contest to win an Ultimate After Hours Experience for the Star Wars and the Power of Costume exhibition, where you can have a private after-hours tour with 10 friends and cupcakes from DC Cupcakes Café on the lower level.
