Lead By Example Fundraiser to Help Students in Haiti

Lead by Example, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting educational opportunities for the children in Haiti, is hosting a fundraiser Sat. April 14 from 7-9:30 p.m. on the rooftop of Homewood Suites Hilton at 312 W. 37th St. Light appetizers and refreshments will be served. Hip hop and reggae violinist Mapy, who has performed with Grammy Award winners Kylie Minogue and Josh Groban, will perform at the event. Knicks players will also be in attendance and a silent auction will feature a signed jersey by Knicks point guard Frank Ntilinkina. Since its foundation following the 2010 earthquake, Lead by Example has empowered around 200 children between the ages of 5 and 18, supplying them with books, uniforms and tuition assistance. A video on the foundation's work and how your family can help students in Haiti will be shown at the event.

For more information on Lead by Example and this upcoming fundraiser call Bob Mackey at 747-343-5950.
