SYJCC Traveling Camps Will Help Expand Kids' Horizons

For kids, traveling during the summer might be the key to increased tolerance, respectfulness, and willingness to learn.

In addition to the fun we have at camp every day, each of our SYJCC camps goes on age-appropriate day or overnight trips to add that extra special experience. Trips are dispersed over the eight weeks and you can see the calendars here.

The survey indicated that other benefits of student travel are increased self-esteem and confidence, more intellectual curiosity and better cooperation and collaboration. Being part of our camp community will help your child to develop core values.

2019 trips will include Broadway, Boston, Baltimore, Delaware,and local highlights like Sunken Meadow Beach, Adventureland, Club Getaway and Splish Splash.
