New York Yankees and New York Mets Participate in Little League Days 2019

New York Major League Baseball teams invite local Little League players to special games.

Little League Days, a program created to give young baseball and softball players the opportunity to greater connect with their sport on a professional level, is returning this April to New York City. During Little League Days kids can enjoy discounted ticket rates, special fundraising opportunities, and the chance to participate in on-field activities such as pre-game parades.

The New York Yankees are giving Little League teams special rates for tickets with prices starting between $20-$30 per person, with the option for each family to pay separately, but attend as a team. A portion of the proceeds will help contribute to the Grow the Game Grant Program that directly benefits local Little League teams. The first Little League Days game is April 12 and the last is Sep. 20 with myriad dates in between. For more information on the Yankees Little League Days ticket prices and availability visit their site.

The New York Mets are offering Little League teams the opportunity to come onto the field before the game and to sit by the Right Field Scoreboard. Keener, Little League president and CEO. “We encourage all of our leagues and districts to explore these opportunities and take the time to share these memorable moments with their players, coaches, and volunteers at a ballpark in their area.”
