Anyone who shows any symptoms of the coronavirus, including a persistent cough and temperature above 100.5 degrees and is not responsive to any fever medications should inquire about a test by calling 718-208-2802. Any health care workers, first responders, or other essential workers as defined by the Governor's Executive Order can call for a test as well.
Since March, UJA-Federation of New York has spent more than $44 million to help respond to the coronavirus pandemic. This includes supporting New Yorkers facing food insecurity, Jewish Community Centers, low-income students, and single parents and providing health and human services to New Yorkers, ensuring dignified burials, and joining the NYC Covid-19 Response and Impact Fund with other philanthropic organizations.
