Amazing Grace
Local teens will wow their audience when the Amazing Grace Circus Youth Troupe appears at the Rockland Country Day School. Starting Artists
Children can learn about fine art while making their own masterpieces to take home at a workshop called Artists in the Garden, August 3 at 4:30pm. Enjoy bird-themed programs and activities at the Bear Mountain Zoo's annual Bird Festival. Stop by the zoo's aviaries to learn about local birds like the bald eagle. Hudson Valley Summer Pow-Wow
Celebrate the culture and history of American's first people when the Redhawk Native American Arts Council hosts a Native American Heritage Celebration during the first weekend of August at the Anthony Wayne Recreation Area in Harriman State Park. The pow-wow will include more than 1,000 Native American artists, performers and educators from across the U.S., Canada, South America and the Caribbean. August 7-8, 11am-7pm. All ages. Night Hike

Save A Life
Parents can learn about age-appropriate home-proofing and safety concerns for children at an Infant/Child CPR, Choking and Safety class being held August 19 at Birthing Wisdom.
