Halloween seems to creep into stores earlier and earlier each year, but the time is finally here to celebrate this fun and irreverent holiday. Halloween Spooktacular
New Jersey Children’s Museum, Paramus

The museum is totally transformed for festive Halloween celebration. Children can come in costume to trick-or-treat with costumed staff, decorate a pumpkin to take home, watch a Halloween puppet show, hear Halloween stories, and get their hands and face painted.
Too Cute to Spook
New Jersey Children’s Museum, Paramus

The littlest ghosts and ghouls can stop by the New Jersey Children’s Museum for a Halloween pizza party. The evening features dinner, dancing, trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, face painting, and special visits from superheroes, princesses, and other favorite characters.
Zoo Boo
Bergen County Zoo, Paramus

Come in costume to trick-or-treat in the zoo and check out a special holiday-themed magic show and storytelling. A haunted train ride, recommended for ages 6 and up, runs from 6:30-9:30pm ($5 per person). Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended.

Halloween Parade
