Blue School Launches “Little Blue Book Club” for Toddlers and Parents

Weekly activities will be hosted on Friday mornings at Blue School's South Street Seaport campus.

Blue School will host a weekly “Little Blue Book Club” starting this Friday. The Friday morning activity is open to toddlers and their parents and is designed to introduce little learners to books, expression and education.

Stories give children a voice. This voice can be loud and proud, soft and strong, spoken or sung or entirely non-verbal, expressed with materials or movement or a good giggle. Little Blue Book Club is a warm and welcoming environment where toddlers can help discover that voice through songs, materials and movement.

Classes are available for $20 for a single class, $75 for a five pack, and $125 for a 10 pack. No advance registration needed. Classes can be purchased at the front desk upon arrival.

The Little Blue Book Club is for parents and toddlers ages newborn-three. It occurs Fridays from 9:15am-10:15am.

Blue School Blue School is a not-for-profit, independent pre-primary, primary and middle school in lower Manhattan, designed to reimagine a more complete, balanced and exuberant approach to education by integrating best educational practice with the latest in child development and neuroscientific research.
